I love cookies. I am worse than the kids. I can eat a whole batch. But the thing is, I don’t even usually realize I have done it. I take one cookie. Then as I pass by again maybe 2 more. So all day long it is a cookie or 2 here, a cookie or 2 there, and before I know it, the cookies are gone. The kids are mad because they didn’t get any, and I am back in the kitchen to make a new batch of cookies. With these Salty Sweet French Vanilla Cookies, it is even worse. Guess it is a good thing that they are easy to make. Or at least that is what I tell myself every time I eat all of the cookies.
I mean, they are easy to make. But my pants are getting mad at me for eating all the cookies. But when a cookie is as good as these, how can I help myself. Made using a cake mix, pretzels for salt and a bit of crunch, peanut butter baking chips, because they rock in everything, and M&Ms, come on now. Just talking about them makes me ready for another cookie. Except, well, I ate them all.
