1. Babysitting. Do you have a lot of experience with children? If so, you may want to consider babysitting. Whether you have friends with children who need to be babysat or you make an account on Care.com, this can be a great way to make some extra cash.
2. Tutoring. Do you have a college degree? If so, you might consider tutoring in your area of expertise. Local community colleges may hire tutors or you can become an online tutor.
3. Yardwork or housework. Mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and interior or exterior painting are all great ways to earn some extra side money. You can offer your services online through Craigslist or you can see if anyone in your neighborhood needs help or can put out the word for you.
4. Sell something. Are you a creative individual? If you know how to make jewelry, create watercolor paintings, or make diaper cakes, why not sell them? You can use an online website, such as Etsy, to sell your products or you can become a vendor at a local flea market.
